Pictures from the Centennial Yolka - 01/04/09

The Sunday School children, under the direction of Maryann Dubee and Matushka Dolores Petorak, presented a wonderful yolka.  Piano music was played as everyone assembled.  The children, along with the audience, recited the Lord's Prayer and sang the Christmas Tropar. After being welcomed to the show, children then told what the letters in Christmas meant to them.  The younger children went and got candy canes and talked a bit about what they represent.  The story of Jesus' birth was told and Alexis played her trumpet and the children sang along with her. Finally the Twelve Days of Christmas was sung and children held up beautifully designed posters for each of the twelve days as they sang about each day.  It was a total delight and enjoyed by all!!  Santa even showed up at the end.  Thanks, Maryann, Mat. Dolores, & children for a great yolka!!!!!
