Mother’s Day Corsages presented this morning to all the women of our Parish have been donated by St. Mary’s Altar Society. Have a happy Mother’s Day!
The Oath of Office for the Church and St. Michael’s Center Committee and St. Mary’s Altar Society will be administered next Sunday, following the reading of the Holy Gospel. Please make every effort to be present!
Church Committee Meeting will be held this Monday, May 9th at 6:00 p.m. Please make every effort to attend.
A Special Easter donation of $2,000.00 was offered to our Church from St. Michael’s Center as a result of the proceeds from the ethnic food and Easter Sales. May our Risen Lord grant all the hard workers many years for their donation.
A Special Easter donation of $500.00 was offered to our Church from St. Mary’s Altar Society as a result of all their hard work this past year. They also donate all the wine used in our services. May our Risen Lord grant them many years.
A Memorial of $340.00 was presented to the Church in loving memory of Stephen Malec on behalf of the Malec family. May his memory be eternal!
St. Michael’s Cemetery Mapping Meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 18th at 6:00 p.m. underneath the Church. This is a kick off meeting to get the cemetery lots in order and computerized. If you are interested please attend this important meeting.
Memorial Day Pilgrimage to St. Tikhon’s Monastery special collection to help offset many of the expenses will be held next Sunday, May 15th during the second offering. We thank you in advance for your support of our beloved Monastery.
Pennsylvanians for Human Life (Scranton Chapter) are selling Mother’s Day Carnations this morning, as a major fundraiser. Please show them your support and purchase a carnation for the gift of life.
Wednesday, May 11th, Resurrection Healing Service will be held at St. George’s Orthodox Church, Keyser Ave. in Taylor, PA at 6:00 p.m.

Renovating Project Goal was set at $25,000 for the repair and replacement necessary at the Church Rectory and the Choir Director's Rectory. Please use the envelopes provided for you located in the Vestibule.
Hospitality a la Russe featuring Traditional Russian Cuisine, with the Kauriga Balalaika Orchestra, will be held on Sunday, May 15th at St. John’s Russian Orthodox Cathedral in Mayfield. 3:30 p.m. Reception & Russian Table, and Theme Basket Drawing. Please contact Kay Fedirko for the RSVP.
