Special Thank You for the great turnout in the Pirogi Construction Project this past Tuesday at our St. Michael’s Center. The more volunteers we have the quicker we complete our project. God Bless you for your time and talent you give to the Church.

 

Please remember in your prayers Matushka Kathy who will be having surgery this Tuesday, morning at 8:00 a.m. at the Regional Hospital in Scranton, Pa. A Special thank you for the prayers you already have offered for her recovery. Please remember in your prayers Ronald Sernak who is in Allied Rehab Center.

 

Church School will resume on Sunday, February 7th at 9:00 a.m. underneath the Church. Please make every effort to bring your children to Church School.

 

Congratulations to John Lasichak in receiving the blessing from Archbishop Mark to be a Sub-Deacon in our Church. May our Lord Grant him Many Years !

 

The Take-Out Cabbage Roll Dinner held last week at our St. Michael’s Center was a tremendous success. We thank all of you for the support given to our Church.

 

The 53rd Diocesan Assembly, hosted this year by St. Michael’s Orthodox Church in Jermyn, was well received by our delegates and guests from our entire diocese. We are especially grateful to the crew at St. Michael’s Center and for all our choir members in Church who made this Assembly very successful.

 

Renovating Project Goal was set at $25,000 for the repair and replacement necessary at the Church Rectory and the Choir Director's Rectory. Please use the envelopes provided for you, located in the Vestibule. We have reached the $10,000.00 mark and still growing. We thank you for the support given!

 

Heat & Air collection: will be taken this morning during the second offering. Please use the envelopes distributed last week. We thank you in advance for the support given!

 

Special Donation of $25.00 in honor of the ordination of Fr. Vasili Dubee was offered by Vince O’Bell and family.
