Luncheon honoring Kyle Miller - 11/23/08
At our Fifth Centennial Breakfast (2nd Luncheon) we honored Kyle Miller, a young man from our community who lost his leg in a tractor accident. The church took up a collection towards his expenses and the Centennial Committee matched the donation for a total of $1,400.00. Two checks were presented to Kyle at the end of the Liturgy. Kyle and his family were then our guests at our Lenten Centennial Luncheon which was prepared and served by Matushka Kathy, Delores Serniak, Ann Narcoonis, and Mary Mathena. Delicious tuna and egg salads were available along with rolls, lettuce, and tomatoes. There was a wonderful variety of desserts, too. Many thanks to everyone for making this a successful event.
